Block parties are a great way to celebrate summer, get to know your neighbours and build community. DMSMRI provides a limited number of grants of up to $800.00 to help offset the cost of hosting a party within our catchment area between May 15 and August 30 each year.

 

Before you begin, you should read our DMSMRI Block Party Guide and contact the City of Winnipeg at 204-986-6006 for a copy of their block party permit package. These will give you an idea of the time, regulations and costs associated with hosting a block party.
